Opening must not catch the garment
Review the tear path and packing position with the actual wrapped apparel. The recipient should be able to open the pack without pulling fabric into the opening feature.
The navy apparel mailer combines a corrugated folding body with an adhesive sealing extension and a tear-opening direction. Plan the closing sequence at the packing station and the opening sequence for the recipient together. A tear strip is an opening feature; a separate return seal must be specified if a second dispatch is intended.

The starting material direction is E-flute corrugated board with printed facing paper. The handle or opening direction is Adhesive sealing extension and integrated tear strip. Branding can use navy print with a silver logo direction. These choices need to be read together: the illustrated construction sets the product direction, while your packed contents determine the final dimensions and reinforcement. Confirm adhesive position, tear path, garment fit and any separate return seal on the sample.
Measure the garment after its final folding and wrapping, including tissue and documents. Provide internal dimensions, packed weight and the location of the sealing flap. Keep the garment clear of the adhesive and tear path when the complete box closes.
| Decision | Starting direction | Check before approval |
|---|---|---|
| Adhesive seal | A defined first-dispatch sealing area. | Review release liner, contact area and staff access. |
| Tear path | A controlled opening direction in the panel. | Test start, travel and the resulting open edge. |
| Return feature | A separate closure where requested. | Confirm a second seal rather than assuming reusability. |

Work through this design in three steps: Review release liner, contact area and staff access. Then test start, travel and the resulting open edge. Finally, confirm a second seal rather than assuming reusability. Record any revision on the product specification before repeating the check.
The product-specific cost variables are: Board, sealing extension, adhesive system, tear-strip layout, print coverage and any separate return closure. Compare these on the same quantity per size and artwork. Identify whether tooling, the physical sample, accessories, assembly and delivery are included as separate line items. A lower unit price with a different handle, insert or print scope is a different specification.
No. If returns are required, specify a separate return seal and review the box after the first opening. Confirm that the remaining structure and closure suit the intended second journey.
