Debossing
A recessed impression. Review paper thickness, fine detail and the reverse-side appearance.
A finish works best when artwork and paper are reviewed together.

Specify the logo and artwork colors. Natural kraft, coated card and textured paper produce different appearances. Review the physical result rather than judging only a screen reference.
Supply the foil artwork as a separate vector layer. Keep critical detail away from handle holes, seams and folds. Review fine lines, coverage and alignment on the chosen surface.
The visible relief depends on artwork and paper construction. Review detail size and the finished forming position before tooling is confirmed.
Specify the desired hand feel and appearance. Review handling marks, color changes and finishing compatibility on the sample. Surface treatment does not replace a load or fit check.
Use the same artwork direction across bags and boxes, then approve each material separately. Ribbon, rope and paper color should be reviewed together.
